I remember as a kid, my parents getting dressed up and going there for banquets, parties and all that stuff. I, of course, never got to go and have never been inside or on the premises to \even see it.

The local paper has been reporting a push to restore it as a historical property. They suggest a 3M$ price tag for it, though.
